The
Malabar English Higher Secondary School is formed under the auspicious of
Kottakkal Educational and Charitable Trust, Kottakkal with the object of imparting
education in English Medium. The school is formally inaugurated by Jb. Syed Hyderali
Shihab Thangal on 8th of May 2000. The school is located at the
western side of Kottakkal – Cholakkundu road about 3 KM away from Kottakkal bus
stand with a beautiful campus.
The Malabar English Higher Secondary School is a bold step by the trust to provide quality education to the common people of the area in general and the downtrodden and the backward sections of the society in particular.
From the first day itself it has started
its endless efforts to meet its utmost goal of being an icon of
Educational Institutions in Kerala which promote ideal
education to those who are talented in the socio-religious scenario. By the last 13 years the
institution has shown a remarkable growth in its way and has won several achievements in scholastic and co-scholastic areas.

General
Rules
1. The
school aims at high standard in discipline .Students are expected to conduct
themselves good manner.
2. The
school hours will be from 9.20 am to 4.pm students should reach the school
10 minutes before the commencement of
school hours
3. Students
should be punctual in attendance
4. Students should wear the school uniform in all days
5. All
Sundays, second and fourth Saturdays are holidays for all classes where as
Sundays and Saturdays are holidays for K G classes. The list of other holidays
are enclosed in the school calendar
6. Any
willful damage caused to school property or to that other students will have to
be compensated by the student
7. Students are responsible for the safe custody
of their books and belongings
8. All
students should bring the school diary daily.
9. Students
suffering any contagious or infectious diseases will not be allowed to attend
school.
10.
Students
are expected to be serious in all unit texts and examinations.
11.
Irregular
attendance ,habitual negligence in school work dishonesty, obscenity in word or
deed, serious misconduct of threats even outside the school are sufficient
reasons for disciplinary action.
